Leaving you this Sunday night to get ready for the new week ahead. This song (one of my favs off of their awesome album released last week) 'It's Gonna Get You' is definitely a song of hope, not to let your talent/gifts be used or abused and to LIVE YOUR DREAMS!
Don’t do it because you believe it’s too far from your grasp. You have to live your life and pursue your dreams! Never give up, never stop, be true to yourself and don’t let anyone useyour gifts! I know first hand how your artistry can be abused or taken for granted. Be sure to keep true and honest people around you. Always Love Live and Laugh!
So after Bey’s been teasing us with her Pepsi commercial, I was like oh please bring out the whole darn song! (lol) Well my wish came true (well if you can find it!) lol Anyway, on Monday night she finally released the full version of the Timberland-produced “Grown Woman”.
I’ve been patiently waiting for an upbeat, dance your azz thin Beyonce track since 4 album is damn near flatten from replay; the track which is co-written by The-Dream, (I can hear him in there, hehe) and it comes right on time! I’m in overdrive as the unofficial summer begins after Monday (Memorial Day Holiday) and I swear this woman, her voice and her bombastic tracks can get this chick going in on the treadmill for hours! LOL
Listen for yourself… I’m loving it…like its on replay…like its really rad…boom kack boom kack kack congo!! haha xxo
Justin Timberlake is back after 6yrs with Suit & Tie…
On 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds, Justin Timberlake looked forward in time to imagine what dance music in, say, 2013 might sound like. In actual 2013, he is looking backwards— deep into the 1970s, in fact— to reimagine old sounds and styles. While not quite as risky as “SexyBack” or as rewarding as “My Love”, “Suit & Tie” is still one hell of a wedding reception jam, as bubbly as champagne. Timbaland creates a smooth beat out of a marimba roll and harp gliassando that Marvin Gaye must have left on the cutting-room floor, and Timberlake rides it with that fluid, effortless falsetto. “Let me show you a few things,” he sings by way of seduction. Because it’s a song called “Suit & Tie”, Jay-Z is on here, delivering the obligatory rapped verse like he’s crashed a wedding. It’s another in a string of uninspired cameos by Hova but even he can’t sink the song’s slinky vibe. Much like the sartorial combination of the title, this song is smartly modular— mix-and-matchable, even— with each section clearly marked by hard tempo changes.
I’m feeling it…I am not going to lie, I was hesitant to listen to it; due to my opinions from the incidents that occurred during the Superbowl with the Janet wardrobe malfunction fiasco…yes I held on to that grudge and many members of my community did as well. So for him to come back, get his respect and soul card back he definitely had to come CORRECT. And Suit & Tie definitely comes correct, a mixture of chopped and screwed pop, rhythm & blues, Pharrellyesque sorta hip-hop mixed vibe (that makes sense). Its a Justin Timberlake upgraded…lets see where this goes…his new album The 20/20 Experience out this year.
