We are currently looking for a Production Assistant/AC (Assistant Camera) to assist us with our freshest short film project shooting THIS WEEKEND Saturday May 26^th, 2012. We will provide more details about the project once we receive your reply and your credentials fit our needs. This is a NON-PAID position; however, you will receive a copy, IMDB Credit and Kraft services. Please see the requirements to apply below:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Generally assisting the rest of the crew (during physical production)
• Boom Operator (EXPERIENCE WITH A H4N ZOOM RECORDER /BOOM   MIC ATTACHED IS A REQUIREMENT)
• Camera runner, loading and unloading.
• Keeping inventory of all equipment, film, and expendables
• Securing the equipment
• Organizing and cleaning the equipment space
• Maintaining and cleaning the equipment
• Maintaining and cleaning the set (if applicable)
• Labeling of equipment, boxes, magazines, and storage spaces
• Marking actors and props (leaving a marker of their positions as the scene is blocked for the purpose of measuring distance from the camera so that its focus can be adjusted throughout the scene)
• Marking and operating the clapperboard properly
• Keeping meticulous and accurate camera notes
• Charging of batteries for camera and accessories
• Set-up and set breakdown
• Ensuring that all instructions from the director of photography are passed along properly to labs and/or post houses  (if applicable)
• Relaying reports from the lab about the rushes to the director of photography (if applicable)

*YOU MUST LIVE IN THE LOS ANGELES , CA AREA ONLY AND OWN A WORKING VEHICLE WITH A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD WITH CURRENT LICENSE AND CURRENT INSURANCE.

A DOPE PLUS!

• If you are a recent college/university graduate with a B.A in Film/Media Arts or Communications with a focus on TV/Film Production who is looking to add to your resume with more field work (hands on physical production). If you are a senior in College/University that would be great too!
• Having previous experience with working on sets as an AC or 2^nd AC and/or PA.
